About
The Heart Behind Healing Hearts, Healing Minds
Therapy is about more than just talking through problems. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, working through what’s holding you back, and creating meaningful change that feels lasting and real. I provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for individuals and couples in West Springfield, MA and virtually across Massachusetts.
About Gena
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Massachusetts with over 20 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and couples through life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and bring a grounded, warm, and steady presence to my work, creating a space where you can slow down, explore what you are carrying, and better understand yourself.
My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in attachment theory, Polyvagal-informed care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based modalities. I combine emotional depth with practical tools, helping clients make sense of patterns while building skills that support meaningful change in daily life.
